Hi, the Alexa Mini now has Anamorphic and ARRIRAW capabilites. BUTTTTTTT…. read below:
1. RAW from Alexa Mini is in .MXF container instead of .ARI like the other Alexas
2. To transcode RAW (.MXF), you need to use ARC (Arri Raw Converter) which you can download for free from www.arri.com
3. If you choose to shoot RAW, please always double check with your preferred Post Production House for Color Grading to ensure your workflow is safe.
